The Commonwealth Games is an International mega event which holds special position in the world of sports. The tourism industry in India will be on new power and energy. The country is hosting Commonwealth Games 2010 with the great enthusiasm as the whole city is getting improved infrastructure of the state and of the neighboring states too. Generally, in the event of Commonwealth Games there are minimum 6 and maximum of 8 sports with having not more than 2 teams, which will be selected by the host city. Athletics and swimming will be the compulsory sports in the Commonwealth Games.
